​Ecole Centrale de Lyon, member of University of Lyon and joint intitutee of INL research laboratory, is one of the top engineering schools (grandes écoles) in France, teaching a broad spectrum of engineering sciences. The Lyon Institute of Nanotechnology (​INL) is a fundamental and applied research laboratory in the field of micro- and nano-technology. Its mission is to conduct research towards the development of fully-fledged technologies for a broad range of application sectors (semiconductors and micro-electronics, telecoms, energy, health, biology, industrial control, defense, environment). The laboratory comprises 240 permanent staff members and PhD students.
