    11TU Delft (~2700 fte scientific staff, ~16.000 students), the oldest of three technical universities in the Netherlands, is a multifaceted institution offering education and carrying out research within the technical sciences at an internationally recognized level. Education, research and design are strongly oriented towards applicability, sustainability, safety and economic vitality. The TU Delft Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS), Circuits and Systems group has been involved with the SystemC system modelling efforts from its inception in the early 1990’s.
    2 The main interest of the TU Delft in H-Inception, is to establish a mixed system-level design flow that supports our continuing and expanding efforts in heterogeneous electronic systems. In particular, TU Delft aims to improve the design and modelling capabilities of  complex heterogeneous simulation models of (part of) human brain cells : the inferior olive, which provides the climbing fibers to Purkinje cells in the cerebellar cortex, has been implicated in various functions, such as learning and timing of movements, and comparing intended with achieved movements. The TU Delft will focus on :
    3 •       Development and analysis of (DSP) algorithms for heterogeneous neural simulation models of brain cells,
    4 •       Development of a model of the physical interface between neural simulation models, using the H-Inception design methodology and environment tools.
