Check-out a copy of the SoCView simulator

}}}

Go into the directory
{{{
cd socview-2.1
}}}

Create the configuration script
{{{
aclocal-1.6
automake-1.6 --add-missing --copy --foreign
autoconf
}}}

Specify the g++ for the compilation
{{{
export CXX=g++
}}}

Create a temporary compilation directory
{{{
mkdir objdir
cd objdir
../configure
}}}

Build the simulator
{{{
gmake
gmake install
cd ..
}}}

Build the Graphical User Interface (GUI)
{{{
cd gui
qmake
make
}}}

Now you have everything installed, you may begin using SoCView
