I received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Paris XI (Orsay), France in 1986.

I am currently a Research Scientist at the CNRS, within the LIP6 laboratory (Computer Science and Hardware-Software architectures) UMR 7606 CNRS-Sorbonne Université (SU) in the CIAN team.

My research interests are mixed signal oriented, they include design automation of analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems as well as A/D and D/A conversion.

Between 2013 and 2018 I was heading the "System on Chip" (SoC) Department at LIP6 laboratory.

I am cofunder of the Free Silicon Foundation (F-Si) and co-organizer of the FSiC Conference in March 2019, Paris, France.
